generate-identifiers
Use this skill when a user provides a torrent name or file name and wants to fix recognition issues, or asks to add/manage custom identifiers (自定义识别词). This skill generates identifier rules based on the WordsMatcher preprocessing logic, checks for duplicates against existing rules, and saves them through the structured MoviePilot API gateway. Because custom identifiers are global, generated rules must default to conservative, sample-specific regex patterns instead of broad matches unless the user explicitly wants global cleanup. Applicable scenarios include: 1) A torrent or file name is incorrectly recognized (wrong title, season, episode, etc.); 2) The user wants to block unwanted keywords from torrent names; 3) The user needs episode offset rules for series with non-standard numbering; 4) The user wants to force recognition of a specific media by source-native ID; 5) The user wants TV recognition to use a specific TMDB episode group.

What does the generate-identifiers skill do?
Use this skill when a user provides a torrent name or file name and wants to fix recognition issues, or asks to add/manage custom identifiers (自定义识别词). This skill generates identifier rules based on the WordsMatcher preprocessing logic, checks for duplicates against existing rules, and saves them through the structured MoviePilot API gateway. It's a reusable SKILL.md instruction set that loads into your AI coding assistant on demand, no prompt engineering, no copy-pasting every session.
How do I install the generate-identifiers skill?
Run `npx @skills-hub-ai/cli install moviepilot-generate-identifiers` from your terminal. The CLI writes the SKILL.md to the correct location for your AI tool (e.g. ~/.claude/skills/moviepilot-generate-identifiers/ for Claude Code or ~/.cursor/skills/ for Cursor with --target cursor) and adds it to your project's .skills.json lockfile.
Which AI tools does generate-identifiers work with?
generate-identifiers runs in Claude Code. It follows the open Agent Skills standard (SKILL.md), so the same skill works in every supported tool without modification.
Is the generate-identifiers skill free?
Yes. Every skill on skills-hub.ai is free and open-source. There are no premium tiers, paywalls, or usage limits. You only pay for whatever AI assistant you're already using.
How do I use generate-identifiers after installing it?
In Claude Code, type `/moviepilot-generate-identifiers` (or whatever slash command the skill registers) and the AI follows the skill's instructions immediately. You can also reference it by name in natural language, your AI loads the skill into context when relevant.
Can I share the generate-identifiers skill with my team?
Yes. Commit your project's .skills.json lockfile and teammates run `npx @skills-hub-ai/cli install` (no args) to install every skill at the exact version you pinned. Organization-scoped installs work via skills-hub.ai organizations.
